Currently its gotta be my grandpas old 30-40 Krag. Its a 1906 model year rather than the 1896 but either way at 120 years old I love taking it for a walk through the mountains. Just this weekend we did 2 miles through the snow and shot some rocks. It always puts a smile on my face.

That also does bother me. And yes, same attitude towards crocs. I believe all animals are to be valued I just have a hard time wrapping my head around shooting something that was born in another generation.

Haven't hunted but I am turned off by the idea. Something about killing an animal that takes half a century to mature just doesn't seem right to me. But power to those that do!

Yet to use it on africa but as mentioned partitions or terminal ascent. Harvested many a bull elk with pass through in excess of 600 yards. They hold together well and punch through. They don't explode.
