I buy every pawn shop Sako 85 available for $50 t0 $350 ,I just haven't seen any . I get what your saying , I like my 1949 winchester M70

A have no experience with the Sako line ,but the catalog says the Sako 85 is a controlled cartridge feed RCS round controlled System .

I always thought a .300H&H with a 200grain nosler partition , woodliegh protected point or a Norma oryx ,should handle any thing with good shoot placement

My vote , for the Sako Barvarian is on looks alone ,I have not shot any of these .my experience is with Winchester,ruger,manlicher ,and savage .I am admirer of the sako exspecialy the Barvarians .

How did the .270 perform on the Zebra and Kudo ? It would be a boring place if we all shot the same cartridges I am dieing to use my 6.5x53r and .300H&H.
