    I need Kynoch Wads

Not that it matters since they are out of business, but Kynoch wads were ‘drilled’ from a sheet about 350mm x 200mm. When they were delivered to Kynoch, the wads were still in the sheets and had to be ‘popped’ out.

    I need Kynoch Wads

I did once see a graph showing pressure changes with different wad material. Aside from different wads materials giving a different average pressure, some wads had a massive variation. If I find it again, I’ll post it.

Latest update of list. I found a bunch of No1 Kynoch wads as well. Please note that a few packages containing brass have been delayed due to being inspected at Customs. I guess they can’t be too careful nowadays.

    New owner of 470 n.e.

I have a lot of Kynoch No2 wads in stock. Cheap enough that even with shipping from the U.K, you’ll pay less than from Trader Joes. £7.50/100, $10.17/100 plus postage. Postage would work out at £11.70 international tracked. (For up to 50 packs or so).

My next hunt will be with my .303

I used to have a .303 No4 Mk1 (1941 dated). It’s almost the same round as a .308/7.62, which is a popular caliber that we use for deer hunting in the UK. Love the story behind yours. Paul

404 Jeff - looking for some clarification regarding loading 400 grain Northfork SS bullets

When I had a BP Ruger Old Army I used to use a filler - cous cous. This was to prevent the powder burning front to back. I’d put BP in with one flask, then cous cous in with a second flask. This was always immediately before firing so there was no chance of it mixing. We always discussed if the...
