For the 45-70, 13 gr of Unique under 405 gr cast bullit from a Lyman mold ( 457193) For the 44 mag, 10 gr of W231 for a 310 gr cast It is the ticket for fun !!!!

    Browning Safari 7x57

Those rifles runs from late 50 to late 70 In my opinion they are top quality I own one in 270 and is extremelly accurate, after I got it from an american hunter I customized the stock to my needs, shavings some ounces of unnecesary wood (circassian walnut from Iran)and became my mountain rifle...

A good video about the 1891 model, sweet gun with a lot of simplicity and not as heavy as the 1909 model.

Ruger No1. in 9.3x62 good Africa Rifle??

I prefer a medium sporter configuration in a 9,3 cal. The tropical is much heavier......

Ruger No1. in 9.3x62 good Africa Rifle??

Excellent caliber for the bush, less kick than de 375, the Accubonds in 250 gr and the 286 A-frames are top choices. Good ballistics up to 250-270 yards. The actions of the Nコ1 are super strong but I always prefer a bolt action rufle in case you need a fast follow-up shot

It is a beauty !!!! Stock looks great..... I am from Argentina and even here you donnot cross with one in such a good condition us yours every day. I wonder if you after the 9,3 x 62 go for a Swedish in 6,5 x 55 ?????

Get some Norma factory ammo and have a lot of fun. If you are planning to reload, Hornady bullets (.312) gave better results than Sierra (.311)

    308 win for blue wildebeest

I say yes, the 308 win is perfectly capable to take wildebeest and you will have more chances if you keep the distances under 200 yds. Norma produces high quality ammo I recommend you A-frame in 180 gr as the best choice, other options are the Alaska, Orix or Vulcan all in 180 gr.

Hunting Africa - which rifle to take?

Welcome to AH ! If you donnot flinch the 375 HH or the Ruger is the best all around options and is fast enough with a 270 gr bullet to fly with a trayectory similar to the 30.06 with 180 gr bullet in orther to take PG up to 250 yards. Better suited to engage big cats, eland, zebra and gems...

Ruger Nコ1 rifle are nice rifles, but if you are engaging dangerous game a rifle with magazine is a must.

    The .41 magnum

I consider them (41 and 44 mag) in the same level of performance, if you are not a reloader is a litle bit harder to feed a 41 mag revolver.

    Only One

The Ruger carbine in 375 or 416 Ruger is ideal for what you are looking for.....
