if she gets nowhere and has to keep it I would get EAW mounts on it and live with it ,,hopefully the bore is good

unless you have a plan to use it I would take it off , the problem is if you want to mount a scope later you may have to go with the holland style side mount that uses the rear bridge if there isn't enough space in front of the front ring for a base , tho that barrel looks like it have enough...
