Most efficient 3 cartridge spread for dangerous game?

    9.3x64 Brenneke 400 H&H Magnum 450 Rigby

Potentially new dangerous game cartridges coming to market?

The only "new" dangerous game cartridge I can recall is the 10.3x68 Magnum that RWS introduced about five or six years ago. It was not designed solely with DG in mind, RWS viewed it as a modern 10.3mm (.413") for those cantons in Switzerland where this is the minimum caliber allowed for hunting.

Dangerous Game Brass & Ammunition In Stock

Might be a long-shot but any chance you could get a hold of RWS ammunition or brass? Lapua (ammunition and components), North Fork bullets, and upper-end Sellier & Bellot ammunition (Exergy lines) are other products that come to mind.

Meeting with Norma Reps tomorrow - Pass along your requests for brass/ammo that you would like to see imported to the US in the near future.

Would like to see 308 Norma Magnum and 358 Norma Magnum ammunition be made available.

Elephant Cow Hunt Tuskless Or Tusked Plus Plainsgame Zimbabwe 2023

Wayne, Is there a chance you would have any Tsessebe on quota in this area? If you do, would you mind my asking what the trophy fee would be in 2023? Thanks.

    Westley Richards Synthetic??

Find that I am not entirely outraged but can empathize with those who are. I would love to be able to purchase the stock, even as an un-inlet unit.

Lighter made in USA 9,3 bullets!!

Cutting Edge offers 200 grain and 210 grain Raptors in 9.3. Hammer Bullets has a 240 grain mono-metallic (copper). The CEB bullets are interesting to me as I just picked up a really nice Huskie 146 chambered in 9.3x57 and feel those weights would lend some versatility to the shorter case...

United announces new EWR-CPT non-stop Dreamliner Flights

Love that there is another option of getting to Africa directly from the U.S. One thing that sticks out is the arrival time in Cape Town - 6:00 PM. That likely means you will need to overnight there before connecting to other destinations, even within RSA. Wonder if that would complicate...

    Rimmed (only) Cartridges

Not nostalgic choices but I would love to have single-shot rifles in 6x70R and 30R Blaser.

Free Range Plainsgame Hunt In Zimbabwe 2019

Wayne, Very appealing offer. Any Tsessebe and Reedbuck available on or near this area? If not, how feasible would it be to work these two species into the safari? What are the Trophy Fees for these two species in 2019? Please let us know when you have a chance.

KLM begins flights to Windhoek in October

Old thread revival but just noticed that Euro Wings (low cost carrier affiliated with Lufthansa) is starting non-stop seasonal service to Windhoek from Cologne this Summer (July). Really attractive fares +/- $500 from CGN to WDH. They also operate from a few U.S. airports so, depending on...

    Judging Roan Antelope

Some terrific Roan pics. Love the secondary growth on a couple of those mature old bulls. Roan is the trophy I seek most. Hope to be able to hunt one in a free-range setting someday.

    400 H&H

Jacques, Good info, thanks. I have my mind set on a 400 H&H and have been acquiring the needed components over the past couple of years. The last piece I need is a barrel. H&H used the .411" but would a .410" barrel work? You mentioned Barnes as a source for brass. Is this available...

    Howa 1500 375 Ruger

You will need to keep an eye on the gray market. Legacy/Howa no longer chambers the 375 Ruger in any configuration.

KLM begins flights to Windhoek in October

Will let folks know how things go as I am headed to Namibia next month on Condor. Will be taking a somewhat similar route through Germany as Air Namibia - Frankfurt/Windhoek (going) and Windhoek/Munich (returning). The KLM route does not seem appealing to me. The Dutch rifle transit permit...
