Has Anyone Ever Shipped a Full Mount Croc?

I am all for doing some taxidermy in Africa with a reputable taxidermist. I would not personally mount anything this big and try to ship it. I will be interested to see what the cost is

TSX all the way or solids in the mag for buff

Solids are old news. Very, very old news. Use the TSX and it will do it all.

    Trophy room - wall colour

I like this color. Mine is more of an orange tinted clay color and it's just ok. I've not seen many trophy rooms that are done in dark colors. Must be a reason for that. The mounts pop with a lighter background I think

350 grain TSX vs 400 grain TSX on Cape buffalo

It will work well for buffalo and with TSX you don't need any solids. I ran a 400g TSX all the way through a buffalo from the rear end only stopping in the opposite shoulder. Again no need for solids! It is not ideal for leopard but should be fine.

    Public land

Not necessarily. Private land can have many restrictions as well. The big difference, and why we are all able to have so many hunting opportunities, is the law in RSA that allows full ownership and control of game under fence. This is why most of it is fenced.

    Public land

Yes. That is what is properly termed a concession. You will hear many uninformed hunters call private land a concession especially in South Africa. It is government land under a lease agreement with an outfitter. Namibia has a tender process where they bid on the concessions. Most countries have...

Hunting Mindset: how to break slumps and fear?

One thing about hunting overseas is that you are too far from home to do anything anyway. My only trouble is getting into the third week away from home really gets me homesick. Two weeks and I’m good but that third week does present a challenge.

Lost trophies crate (from Mozambique) - is anyone else’s crate missing ?

This should fall back on your outfitter. They are the ones who live there and should be responsible.
