I am all for doing some taxidermy in Africa with a reputable taxidermist. I would not personally mount anything this big and try to ship it. I will be interested to see what the cost is
I like this color. Mine is more of an orange tinted clay color and it's just ok. I've not seen many trophy rooms that are done in dark colors. Must be a reason for that. The mounts pop with a lighter background I think
It will work well for buffalo and with TSX you don't need any solids. I ran a 400g TSX all the way through a buffalo from the rear end only stopping in the opposite shoulder. Again no need for solids! It is not ideal for leopard but should be fine.

Not necessarily. Private land can have many restrictions as well. The big difference, and why we are all able to have so many hunting opportunities, is the law in RSA that allows full ownership and control of game under fence. This is why most of it is fenced.

One thing about hunting overseas is that you are too far from home to do anything anyway. My only trouble is getting into the third week away from home really gets me homesick. Two weeks and I’m good but that third week does present a challenge.
I would hunt a different area next time. Since you will be traveling a bit this should not be a problem. Maybe look at Hunting the Eastern Cape and then touring.
