Yes
Yes you remove the two "rib blocks" the weaver mount sits atop the remaing metal in the middle and slots into the two spaces creatyed when you remove the blocks. It was quite a tight fit, I had to gently take a little off the front of the weaver mount for it to fit into the front...
Hi there,
Yes I did I managed to get one of the ugex mounts and I mounted a trijicon RMR HD on it. I think it will be a good thing once i have it completely dialled in...the UGEX barrels do heat up quick and I have a lot to learn with doubles etc.
Well here in Oz we are getting a reaming….Oz has gone to the dogs like a lot of Western Nations, many of us are hoping Trump rescues us from Analese.
Anyway what this means is while I was beginning my double phase it’s on hold until we find out how bad the new laws will be, I like to try...
I haven’t got the X4 but the older UGEX, Inlove the thing and it shows a lot of promise going to try and zero it tomorrow with the optic…..me eyes just ain’t what they used to be
I chose the .300 win Mag & .416 Rigby....both calibers worked so well for me on my first trip to Africa. All one shot kills, I used woodleigh 410 gr RNSP's in the .416 and 212 ELDX's in the .300, the 212's worked very well on plains game.
Interestingly my son used his .270 and shot speer 150...
Note yet I’d like a Rigby Big Game and a Heym….but have to see what pans out with the Australian Communist Governments next round of restrictions on firearms.
My son used a Bergara .270, The .270 loaded with 150 gr speer Hot Cors worked better than I anticipated it would on warthog, wildebeest and blesbok.
So my vote goes to the M70 in .270 win
