The one piece long action bottom metal is all the same. Just the magazine box and follower change. I would not recommend the adapter from 2-piece to one piece. The two piece floor plate is just a bit shorter in front of the trigger guard and you will see the spacer between the stock and floor...

You won’t have a problem as long as you get the appropriate permit for the Frankfurt airport. I have done this twice with Lufthansa/discover. Also, if you call Lufthansa and add a firearm to your booking, you will not get charged the firearm fee when you check in at the airport.

The old style CDS dials didn’t have the zero lock, which is a much more reliable system. I also don’t like the look. It’s just a personal preference, however.
