Topped with the Trijicon 1x6 and Alaska Arms QD mounts, I'm pretty happy with it. Easily a sub MOA shooter and the first MOA dot down is good at 300 yards. I'm pleasantly surprised with it.

RL15 was the powder. Works great.

Worked up loads in the .416 Guide gun with the 350TTX's and was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy and speed. I backed it down from max and am at 2545fps, which simply amazed me in a 20" barrel.

shootist, It would be interesting to weigh the PPU brass vs the Lapua and see what the difference is. I've had to tune down loads based on brass wall thickness'. Did you notice if he was using a small primer Lapua case? Just curious.

The only stuck case I've seen up here was on a friends rifle, when he put a warm, possibly damp round into a frozen chamber. It took having to thaw that thing out to get it loosened up and drop out. Definitely not an African type situation.

I keep reading about people who end up with cases stuck in rifles when they go on a hunt in high temperatures. Can someone tell me if this has happened to them and if so, what other signs were showing on that case? Were the primers flattened or pierced? I do quite a bit of reloading and run up...

I've used mine in various configurations (ground, tripod, bench..etc). I've never had a problem just looking down the notch in the top of the unit and aiming it towards the target. It's been a great asset for reloading and very useful for my long range shooting. You do need to be careful exactly...
