I built my own quad sticks out of plastic coated aluminum garden stakes. Used them on my WSMR Oryx hunt here in New Mexico to take an old cow at around 350 yards. They are extremely mobile and quick to deploy. If standing shots are anticipated, I don't think there is a better option.
Draw odds are tough, but I drew OIL on range my first year as a resident, and my ex-wife drew her first year applying. There is no shortage of opportunity, although they are skittish. We both had multiple stalks each day. Shot mine at about 360. Hers was around 180.
Sorry if this has been addressed before. Looking for a PG hunt for 1 with my lady as an observer. Could be a cull hunt. Would prefer decent amenities at camp for her to enjoy on days she didn't ride along (Doesn't have to be luxurious).
