My 8x68S shoots the 185 Core-lokt’s into 1/2” groups at 2985 fps from the 21” barrel. No pressure signs at all and a very handy rifle/round

My thoughts as well. Had I seen the OP’s rifle for sale I likely wouldnt be going down the Taylor road but already have brass enroute and dies in hand

I recently bought a LAW 7 mag to do essentially the same thing though I don’t have enough magazine box to build the REM Mag so going with 416 Taylor

My experience matches yours. I’ve sent several leupolds back. I have 20+ NF and 6-8 Trijicons and never had the first issue with any of them regardless of what they are one. Hell I have had an NXS 2.5-10 on a a couple flyweight 375”’s and over 500+ rounds of heavy 300 tsx have never had an issue.

I have cut 3 rifles over 375 and every time I’ve seen 20-25 fps per inch. Negligible loss for handier rifle

I love my SRO’s for the bigger screen but all of them have the Jagerworks metal jackets/covers which solved the durability concerns

Also if anyone has 416 Taylor brass I would be interested as well.
