Why do you feel it’s better as a capped turret DG scope rather than using the CDS dial? Looking for something like this to save weight for a short range elk woods rifle but like to dial if a shot presents itself.

This could possibly lead to someone fraudulently ordering dials off serial numbers they’ve seen on forum for sale listings, like this. It would be better if they included a coupon code in the box with the scope. Tempted by the 1-6 but then I’d need a new rifle.
