I always had an interest in hunting the big 5 but personal and financial commitments kept that from happening during the years I could physically make such a hunt.
Now I must limit my shooting to paper and from a bench rest , which is ok. I miss the pheasant fields and woods trekking but I do have my own rifle range at my house in Maine so I am good to go.
I was always an avid reader of African and Indian hunting authors so I did experience the hunts of days gone by.
I have followed your website for a long time and really enjoyed all the detail you have of various countries and member posts

All good some a bit better. It all depends on the groups/ buddies I have hunted with .
The hunt is the joint experience/ companionship I have. The game is secondary.

I still keep working on long range shooting .22 and centerfire . The days of hiking and climbing hills are over
