I am bringing this one back I guess! I am looking very hard at the Ruger African in 270 however I would rather have one in 30-06 8mm or 7x57. I know they did one on 2017 for 7x57 and would love to see that again and or in the other two calibers above. Does anyone have an idea when the newest...

Ok should I get that in 338 win mag or the ruger Alaskan in 9.3x62 for an elk hunt

Thank you guys! I am now leaning on m77 in this caliber Thad through lipseys or this single shot however the guide might not want me to bring a single shot but I have no doubt this caliber could put down an elk at 250 to 300 yards

Thank you Odonata I saw this thread and just had to get it going again. It looks like we are getting past 20 on at least one of them. I am hoping we can get this moving forward because it would be a dream rifle for me to own Thanks again

I do like Rugers current 35 offering and the 270 but I do believe the 7x57 is just better cause it harkens back to the original caliber used in Africa so well. I would be down for one maybe even two of these if ruger makes a limited run
