You could say I have the same problem with watches as guns… the only ones I don’t wear out hunting or fishing are the Navitimers due to the lack of water resistance

Are you saying the hash marks for drop line up out to 400?

Perfect timing on this thread, I picked up a m70 416 rem mag, I was thinking the accupoint 1-6 but that leupold and credo are cheaper.

I shoot 160gr accubonds largest animal I have taken with it so far is a bull moose, I haven’t made it to Africa yet. I certainly would take a 280 ai over a 308 to Africa.

Thanks mostly trying to find out what the best powder is, I normally load for totally different type of cartridges so I have h1000, N570, 4831. So I’m starting from zero with these lower pressure rounds. Also why the 400 not the 450 in a 458wm

What loads did you land on? I’m just starting my process from exactly the same spot. Picked up 75 450gr CEB solids and a m70 in 458
