Who shoots a 6.5 creedmoore ? I just don’t get it for anything bigger than deer size game and super close shots

I agree with the above. I shot 143gr ELDX bullets with IMR4451 at about 2800 fps at with a 24" barrel, and 140gr HPBT at about 2700 fps - I never pushed this load faster since I only shoot it at the range and it shoots great.

Smith and Wesson 629 Mountain Gun .44Mag

I don't remember the maker, and mine doesn't have any markings on it. It does look like ManGear's is nearly the same, though thay name doesn't ring a bell, but I do seem to remember them being made in AK.

Smith and Wesson 629 Mountain Gun .44Mag

Thanks gents! It really is a nice shooter, and I agree @HankBuck, the double action pull is quite heavy, but certainly shootable. @Green Chile - it's definitely nicer to shoot than the Scandium lightweights!

Smith and Wesson 629 Mountain Gun .44Mag

I bought this revolver back when I lived in AK for hiking, fishing, etc.. It's mostly sat in my safe since I moved out of AK, so I'd like to sell it to move on to other projects. This is the stainless steel, 4" barrel Mountain Gun, in .44 magnum. It's in very good condition and currently has a...
