I had a few model 1's the main difference between model one and five is that model 1 has a rectangular receiver ejection port and model 5 an oval one. Barrels look identical, Safety lever on model 1 is straight aligned with bolt and model 5 is at 90 degree angle

Hi Marsksman, yes the 601 action is overbuilt for a standard 222, 222 Rem magnum would be better suited but ammo not so easy to find at least in europe. Though it makes a great combination nonetheless. About being able to swap barrels it may not be so easy as they are screwed in to receiver...

Hi Dismantled it because had a project to custom rebarrel in 9,3x62. Then gave up. have 4 7x64 zkk 600's no big deal then others are 100% mint this one is used but very good Stock is sold, barrel have a 20 inch which was removed. Though too much hassle to get licence and export papers only...

That's fine and easy to make the deal in europe, need to send me permit for gun parts and i'll get export paper in 2 days.. For other destinations, you need to inquire for customs if they allow import, and your post office if they handle import of gun parts. My end postal services are OK

These Brno receivers with 19 mm dovetails accept a variety of mounts,quick detachable and they will hold zero. I suggest steel ones..If you happen to have or find the original..there are plenty on ebay even with scopes, just search for zeiss ZF4 or Zeiss ZF6 you can get them at good prices...

Just use the original BRNO ZKK 600, 601 or 602 mounts but then you need the zeiss jena scopes...They hold zero and they are quickly detachable. Here a ZKK600 original mount (Fitted to a ZG47) double square 19mm rails receiver tops ZG47 or ZKK are the same sizewise..I se you have some nice rifle...
