.425 Magnum Express Westley Richards Model 98

Thanks! i really like how it shoulders,i dont notice the 28 inch barrel, just hope with the next election here in november we dont get a labour govenment,as there already eyeing up the stupid law changes in Aus. Typical is a restriction on the gun numbers you can have.

Well its turned up,a few(crapy phone pics sorry) of it compared to a Oberndorf mag mauser in 280 Ross,28inch barrel,a 375hh circa 1922,best grade and a Sako 85 Safari in 450 Rigby. The WR rifle is a 1924 best grade ...bore is mint

Classic plains game rifles and cartridges

Maybe a Brno 602/CZ 550 in 300 win mag or a Brno 21 in 7x57, heres mine with a Khales 2-7 of the same period. Or if youd like a older classic, a Oberndorf type s mauser in 7x57.(other rifle is a Sako Safari in 450 Rigby)

    Savage 116

Interesting,i had a Mauser 66 big game in 375hh,and was wondering if i could load a long range type projectile, someting like a match king (single load)as 375hh is able to be used for not just close up shooting. Turns out nope as the HH twist wouldnt stabilize it but the WB375 has more grunt...

450 Rigby and whether to scope or not?

Thanks, i had a cz safari magnum which felt a bit short,it was a euro made version. the Sako fells ok but could be a touch longer so ill get a leather slip for the butt made if needed.i was just worried i was over scoping it.
