Im Not sure entirely.. My last package landed in Calgary and I drove down and took it home.. The importer said something about the Buffalo head being the issue but I didnt realy care.. The only difference was the carrier.. Turkish Air.. The package was cleared and transported to Penticton BC...
Hey.. I received my Package of completed mounts back from Bullseye Taxidermy last month. It was imported/ handled into Canada to Vancouver via YOFREIGHT. The only issue was getting the Buff skull back. It had to go to Vancouver instead of Calgary.. No big deal..
I have been to Bobby Hansen's area along the LImpopo. We managed a 55" kudu and found a fresh Leopard kill while walking the river edge. Soo cool what you see along the river
Hey.. I have been picking up mostly classics to my eye for the last 10 years or so.. Lately a couple beauties in Sako L46 22 hornet and Sako VL 63 is 243. BUT.... I handled a Sauer 101 GTI in 308 and loved it...The Laminate thumbhole stock , adjustable cheek riser and its threaded for a break...
Wow .. I rode that ferry back in the day. Grew up in Port Alice.. We had to eat dust on the the old rode through to Gold River or take the ferry.. Welcome aboard sailor..
Hey I remember that User name from back in 2000's on HuntingBC.. I was Huntersdad before taking a break from that site... Good to hear your still shooting..
For a few years I just loaded E-tips and Interlocks. Easy to find but didnt really do what I was looking for. I have settled on 200gn...
Hey
I have had these 2 ZG47s for a few years now and have carried both across BC looking for edible things. I must admit the 9.3x62 on the left is my favorite to reload for but the 8x64 is my favorite go to rifle.. The 8mm is still limited in bullet selection but its getting better every year..
I have a crate coming in early Jan 2026 from Bullseye. I had seen examples of scroll work on skulls prior and asked Craig if it was possible... Yup no problem was the answer. I had my Buff skull so adorned... I will attempt to post when the crate arrives in Alberta, Canada.
Hey
ZG47 in 9.3x62 and 8x64.. The 9.3 was out for moose this year but we had no cooperation from bull winkle. I also have a Sauer 100 in 9.3x62 for the foulest of weather.
I had a stopper in 375HH.. Zeiss 1.5x6x scope mounted in detachable rings.. I just couldnt get it to feel better than a bolt action Brno 602.. I sold the stopper
Hey I have the ZG47 in 8x64 and 9.3x62 ..Love them both.. the 8 is for bears and elk and the 9.3 is for Moose.. My plan was to take the 8x64 to Africa this year as my plains game rifle.. I decided to just use 375 for everything instead..
