Booked my hunt last year at DSC so this year was just visiting with Strang Middleton, getting pumped up for the May hunt. My first buffalo and first trip to the Luangwa Valley. Did pick up a pair of Jim Green boots for the hunt on @Mtn_Infantry and Strang’s advice.

Ran into several at the dinner: @K-man @WAB @Rare Breed @Red Leg Met up with @Mtn_Infantry and @Jfet on the floor and finally got to meet @MikeNC face to face.

Prayers for healing. We’ll miss visiting.

May sound strange to most, but I have never owned a wrist watch in my life. Working on the ranch we got up and went to work until it was done. A watch was never that important I guess. I tried a pocket watch for a time but never really looked at it so I stopped packing it around.

Started January with a Oklahoma Quail hunt with my sons and buddy. Countdown is getting close for my May trip to the Luangwa Valley with Strang Middleton for my first buffalo hunt! After that it'll be taking more kiddos for Whitetail at the ranch this fall.

Do we need to RSVP with head count or just show up?

Very proud dad today! Oklahoma rifle season opened this morning. My little girl hunted hard last year but didn’t connect. An hour and a half in this morning and she put a perfect shot on this nice buck. Might be tough for her to beat her first deer.
