I apologize for not remembering the exact specs/reasoning behind it, but my uncle (deceased)….added weight to the fore end of his 500 (I remember a thick piece of metal in the stock). Him and my grandpa liked to modify stuff. It did help with recoil (or maybe just reduced the ‘lift”)...
What the title says.…it will be used for dove and riding around in the side by side 90% of the time, not sure what the other 10% is yet. I have a bunch of shot guns but the only over unders I have are a 12g Citori and 410 yildiz.
