The MKIII is a little more difficult than the rest requiring removal of the very stubborn trigger pin. I might send it off for a trigger job one day.

My 2010 MKIII is one of my favorite handguns. It doesn’t have the greatest trigger, the magazine disconnect is annoying, but it runs hard and handles like an extension of your arm. I’ve never had the urge to modify it in any way, and have embraced its old-world charm.

Pre ‘64 all the way. I’ve owned a few NH classics and FN rifles, but they always end up down the road at some point. I don’t have $800 in my 1956 .30-06 Fwt (after selling the scope that came on it), but this one is never leaving my safe.

I currently have a Trijicon Accupoint 1-4 on my 550 .375. The fixed Warnes are being swapped out for Alaska Arms QDs. Excellent FOV, low profile turrets, and not too heavy. This one has the triangle post reticle, awesome like a red dot at low power, but precise enough to take longer shots on 4x.

Another option is to source a pre64 magnum follower (steel) from eBay, and use a Mauser spring. The pre64 follower is wider, but is easily filed and smoothed to travel in the mag box without binding. This has fixed the same issue in a similar classic 375hh.
