If you go to South Africa, I recommend Sabi Sands. We stayed in Leopard Hills. You will get much closer to wildlife (Big 5) than in Kruger. It is adjacent to Kruger. We saw 10+ leopards, 20+ lions, lots of wild dogs, and a ton of plains game. We stayed 2 nights which includes game drives.
