Born in Arkansas, grew up hunting ducks and small game, started deer hunting while in college, became interested in Africa from a hunting friend.
Started traveling abroad as a 19 year old, studied abroad in Israel and Central America, earned Doctor of Ministry, traveled to 54 countries, moved to Texas for post graduate studies but stayed, wife works for airlines.
Ready and planning for retirement at Texas lake home.
