When my dad passed in 2019 I inherited his hunting rifle. It is a pristine grade 2 belgium bar in 30-06. He killed an awful lot of White tailed deer in the western part of Michigan's UP. I personally prefer a nice bolt or single shot but that BAR shoots as nice as any of my rifles. I think the...
I also think of Rubio as more moderate. I could support him especially based on the perceived competition. There is a bit of time til the gamesmanship start.
Yes way over priced in my opinion a Rugrr #1 isn't worth three or four thousand dollars unless it's special. The existing ones I have seen are over priced due to thier rarity.
I would love a 450-400 in a Ruger #1. They would have to provide brass as well. One without the other isn't mich good. I missed the first time around love to see them come around again. Dont have much need for one in North America but that combination would be fun.
Yes, each person gets one vote along with that comes outcomes from.those decisions. I do not like many of the outcomes but the world does not ask for permission from me any more than it asks you.if the outcomes are not too your liking work to change them.
I really like the Alaskan Arms detachable rings. A bit more exspensive but worth every penny. I have a set on my Ruger #1s in 375H&H and my 9.3x74r. Would not change a thing. You actually talk to the owner when you call thier phone number.
I guess i see it different - the populous will vote in who the majority wants. I was born and raised in St. Johns, Michigan til I left on my 18th birthday for the Navy.
I dont expect everyone to agree with me on my posts I dont always agree with Big Easy. I am happy he posts here. He is the fly in the ointment. If he wasn't here thr opposition to the common mind-set would be almost non existent.IMHO
I know i used to have to catch a bus down to Ohare to fly over to Lansing. I did not own a car bacj then. I dont remember any part of Chicago being great. Transfered our of the area as fast as I could. To me Chicago sucked.
My experience with North Chicago , specifically around Zion in the early 80's is not favorable. Never really considered Detroit and Chicago as being that different during the 70s and 80s.
