They are typically very accurate, but the bolt is not the smoothest out there. For dangerous game this may be a concern.

It is all down to physics. In general terms the less quick back the more accurate. This has nothing to do with the capacity of an individual to handle recoil or not. So all other things begin equal, a 6.5 should be more accurate than a 7 rem mag. Individual rifles will vary. Having said that...
