Did you get your rifle back from butch? Have you shot it? I know sabatti gave you a hard time developing a load but I'm wondering how your new rifle is working out?

I would lightly tap the lever with soft mallet. Broken striker would not allow the rifle to break open. Very light tap, if that doesn't do it, go see a smith. I'm sorry it happened to you and I would be upset. On a separate note if this was a sabatti, Internet would collapse from negative comments.

I have shot a ton of 450 and 500 grain tsx with h4831, v100 hybrid, and i did not like regulation out of my double. I tried 450 tsx with reloader 17 and that did not shoot well either. So I stopped using tsx with my double. 90 grains of h4831 gave me 2120fps with 500 tsx. I shot them anywhere...

Here are the suspects. Barnes 450/500 tsx Peregrine 480, hornady 480dgs and Barnes 45/70 400.

Those 4 shots actually measure less than 1 inch apart. The other holes are Barnes tsx, which for the life of me I can not get to shoot well.

Another update. 180 rounds down the pipe. Slow powder causing groups to cross.
