I’m goi g to run the tsx and a frames through my rifle next weekend and see which one it prefers. Thank you for the advice

I can’t find 200gr a frames in any factory ammo are people who are using them reloading? Or is it factory ammo? And will using the 200gr bullets make a significant difference compared to a 180 a frame or tsx?

I will mainly be hunting in Limpopo, right now I have some of the 180 grain Barnes and 180 grain swifts to test fire. I don’t reload but would be willing to get custom loads if swift doesn’t start making the 200 a frame ammo soon.

Has anyone had any experience with federal edge tlr? The design makes a lot of sense (front lead core is bonded and rear is monolithic) and the ballistics are great, but I’m wondering how it works in the real world?

What do recommend as a bullet for plains game? Largest animal I’m shooting is a kudu and I may possible use the rifle for a giraffe, smallest is an impala.

I did look at fierce but I ended up with a proof elevation rifle, it just just felt right in my hands.

Some of the chassis are in the 2.5 lbs range which is the same as a wood stock. As long as the total weight of rifle stays below 8-9lbs I don’t see chassis or stock being an issue.

Yes proof research was the company I was curious about. They are supposed to make really good barrels, I just do not have and personal experience with them.

Does anyone have any experience with proof barrels for larger calibers? I’m having a 375 made and was considering one but I can’t find any reviews on their larger caliber barrels.

Hello everyone,new hunter to Africa here, looking for knowledge about outfitters. Right now we plan to go to Africa next year for our first hunt. We are looking at Africa Hunt Lodge and Somerby Safari, does any one have any experience with these outfits? And does anyone have any recommendations?
