I'm looking for some input on a proper twist rate for my rifle build, 500 A Square. The plan so far is an 18" barrel shooting 570gr pills somewhere between 2100 and 2300 fps. I've run the numbers and done some research. I've seen anywhere from 1:10 to 1:26. I'm leaning towards 1:14 maybe 1:15...

Hi guys, I have and have taken several animals with my 400 Tembo. Love this rifle. Very accurate, good penetrasion and recoil is very manageable. Softs (Barnes X bullets) and solids shoot within .5 moa of one another. I'll try to attach a picture of two bullets recovered from my buff.
