My goodness. Couldn’t apologize more. My experience tells me taxidermy does not resale well, and perhaps my tone was take wrong. Your comments were received. I think, though, that if you question a written reply that could be taken warmly or coolly, you might consider the former and move on...

If you get those prices, I think I'll start selling some of my own! Unfortunately, from what I've seen, there's very little market for someone else's taxidermy. We might pay >$1000 for a shoulder mount, but it's worth $25 to everyone else.

So, tell me about reproduction tusks for non-exportable elephant hunts.

Let's say I would like to do a Euro mount ... the skull would be nearly prepped by the time it was "Dipped & Packed," correct? Since I usually do my own Euro mounts, could I have those skulls shipped directly to me? Or do they need to go to a taxidermist for some bureaucratic reason?
