375H&H with NF 250 grain SS. Found the sweet spot with H4350 powder. Light recoil, good velocity and I think very accurate. I hope this will be the rifle and cartridge my wife uses when we go to MOZ in 2027. Plains game for her, no DG.

In 2023 my wife and I stayed at the Blackheath Lodge. I really liked it. It is a smaller boutique hotel with a variety of room or apartment options.

I have this reticle on my dg rifle I think it works very well. You eye is drawn to the red dot and the small marks are not noticed. It is nice to turn it to a true 1x and shoot with both eyes open. for the real close stuff.

I have 2 boxes of the above available. I used the Outfitter line of bullets in my 30 06 and it worked great on plains game. I have decided to stay with one bullet in my 375 and it will be 300 grains. So these 250 grain bullets are available. $60/per box plus actual shipping.

I have one. I'm pleased with the fit and finish. It is very accurate with 300 grain Barnes as well.

My last hunt my PH gifted me a fixed blade knife that a friend of his makes, with a polished kudu horn and warthog tusk handle. I thought that was very nice and completely unexpected.

I have a model 70 375 H&H just got back from Africa. I had a Steiner 1-4 scope and it was fine. I have since moved that scope to my 404 J and purchased a VX 5 2-10x42 Leupold with firedot from Mark B. Mark was great to work with. The new scope will make the gun much more versatile.

In my rifle at 79 grains of H4350 and a NF 400 grain SS I recorded an average 3 shot velocity of 2267fps. 15 ES and SD of 7.7. Your mileage may vary. Should put me at 4524 ft lbs at the muzzle. Going up to 81 grains got me 2308 fps. SD of 2.5 and ES of 5. I think I will focus on 79...

375 H&H for me. It is one of my newer guns but I shoot it really well. It puts a smile on my face and animals in the dirt.
