300 Holland & Holland (pre war)

Good problem to have! The pre war H&H 300 and a pre war 416 Rigby are my two dream rifles. Yours is very nice. That old leather box tops it off.

    Savage 110 .458 Win mag

Would anyone here take a Savage 110 in 458 Win mag on a dangerous game hunt? I’m a Mauser style action type of guy and I passed on it. It was $650 and I am wondering if I’ll regret it tonight laying in bed. It was a plastic stock so I would have had to upgrade that. I would have bought it if...

What cost in African Safaris is sustainable?

Thanks! I was just getting a baseline of airfare. I will definitely use Travel Express and Rifle Permits.

    Col. Arthur B. Alphin (A-Sq) - RIP!

He had a very interesting life! A cup of coffee with him would have been great. Many thanks to him for his service to our country and the shooting and hunting industry.

As a new reloader, H4895 is great for rifle. H110, well…carpe diem right? You should add HP-38 and you’ll be starting off great!

    Your Powder Selection Criteria?

1-availability 2-versatility 3-temperature insensitivity I use mostly Hodgdon powders and have mostly been using their data. Thanks to Bob Whelen for getting me on CFE223, which is made in Florida. I really like it and it will always be available to us in the US.

Victorinox Multitool for me. Used it a lot the last 19 years and it’s still in great shape because I take care of it.

    Quietest Vibratory Case Tumbler

I have a Lyman and Midway. The Lyman isn’t bad at all, but I don’t use them anymore. I converted to wet tumbling and will never go back.
