I watched a Cape buffalo get absolutely destroyed by a frontal shot with an eldx at about 40 yards. PH’s were skeptical before, but afterwards said they’ve never seen a buffalo hit harder. Crazy the damage it did.

Before I went to Africa, I got lots of advice that my 6.5 prc was insufficient, and the 140 VLD’s would be a mistake. Was told that African animals are just built different. Much tougher than American deer, elk and antelope. 10 shots and 10 animals later, including eland, kudu, sable, gemsbuck...

As I understand it you get day rates for 2 hunters and $6k in trophy fee credit to split between the 2 hunters for $5k.

I’ve had several Christensen rifles and they've all shot really well. I’ve been around a lot more and still haven’t seen one that won’t shoot. Here’s the first 10 shots out of the most recent, a ridgeline fft in 6.5 PRC. This type of accuracy is not uncommon.
