I went there in fall 0f 2013. Had a bad experience with my guide. Most of the hunters got moose. One was 39 inch. Lots of road hunters. I have a previous post regarding my hunt.

Went to Newfoundland in 2013 on a moose hunt. Had a bad experience with my guide who informed me on day 1 he was not killing himself getting no moose out. Don't think that guide works for that outfitter now. Moose are small but hunts are cheaper than Alaska by far.

I never thought of giving up on getting my Impala. It was a long process but paid off in the end. I appreciate everyone's input.

The outfitting company had an Argo the guys used to get their moose out. They had to do a bit of chainsaw work but got them out. I did complain to my outfitter but he did nothing until the last day when I demanded another guide or my hunt was over.
