Do you have any photos of the other three rifles? As soon as this one makes its way from Belgium to me in Switzerland, I'll upload more here

Another rifle in my favorite German caliber - 11.2x72 Schuler

I also bought another original ASS rifle in 11.2x72 from Belgium. This is now my second rifle in this caliber.

Carl Zeiss stops scope and binoc production 2026

That's what happens when you give Green politicians power in a country like Germany. It's truly shocking how Germany has been run down in just a few years. This affects many other sectors there as well. I hope that people abroad will always use Germany as a warning example of how not to do...

This is probably the craziest shit I've ever seen. How does it work?

Pre War Mauser in Schuler Caliber 11.2x72

Here is my 11,2x72 Schüler Rifle. It's an original ASS, distributed by Robert Bessel & Son from Sagan in Silesia (now spelled "Zagan" because it's now part of Poland). It was then exported to the English company Thomas W. Watson in London.

Have you ever been able to sell the Mauser, or do you still own it?

Why didn't Germany or Continental Europe develop big bore cartridges like the British did?

I also think that for safety reasons not every hunting tourist in Africa is allowed to play Karamoja Bell. Yes, I know about German East Africa and its General Lettow-Vorbeck. He is considered a war hero by many people around the world, only in Germany is he considered a “war criminal”. But...

Why didn't Germany or Continental Europe develop big bore cartridges like the British did?

Why? The Germans have invented numerous calibers suitable for large game... - 9.3x62 by Otto Bock - 9.3x64 by Brenneke - 10.75x68 from Mauser - 11.2x72 by Schüler - 12.7x70 by Schüler (.500 Jeffery) These were just the best-known representatives. All calibers with which countless big game were...

    Unusual 10.75x68

No, the Jeffery has a brass length of 73 mm. The overall length L6 of the Jeffery is around 91mm, almost 9mm longer than the 10.75x68, as the bullet in the .423 Mauser (usually around 350 grains) is set quite deep
