How many .375 H&H's and/or .416's do you own and shoot?

Very nice Roe Buck- where you got it? Waidmannsheil from Ferlach. Nice rifle as well

One cartridge to hunt dangerous game for the rest of your life and it can't be a 375, what are you going with?

416 Rigby in a Hambrusch Magnum Mauser, Swarovski Z6 1-6x24. Worked perfect on Buffalo, some Plainsgame. On my 3rd Safari 2025 in Zimbabwe I will use it for Elephant. If I would be in my 40 ties and not end of 60ties I would look for a Westley Richards double with droplocks in 450/400 or 470...

    English v German/Austrian gunmakers

1906 was the time of Austria-Hungary k&k monarchie. The area of the crownlands were much biger than Austria in 2014. This shows specially the figure of Small Game. The natural biotops of this time where much better for small game than nowadays. The technique and quality of shotguns I think have...

    Elephant -Buffalo hunt in Caprivi

Thank you Ivo for this information. Looks like traveling with a hunting rifle from a European EU country to Zimbabwe/ Harare is nearly impossible or quiet complicated. Flying to Joburg checking out for an overnight stop and then checking in again to Zimbabwe could be the -complicated- way. Go...

    Elephant -Buffalo hunt in Caprivi

I allready realized the price difference- comparing some outfitter offers from this regions. For me a sportive, fair hunt- tracked animals, not spotted from car and to look for old animals , that’s what‘s important for me as hunter. Also the beauty of nature where I go hunting is important to...

    Hallo from Austria

Waidmannsheil aus den Karawanken + auf den Kleinen Hahn It‘s nice to hear some „Mothertongue“ here under mostly fellow American Safari hunters As my Roebucks are still grey I‘ll go to lower regions in Slovakia to hunt some bucks end of May
