I did speak to 2 re-sellers of taxidermy. They list these for 20 to as high as 29K. Mine is better than the 29K specimen. They both would offer me far less (I understand the business of profit) Both said I would have to be very patient if I sold without using their service.

Very true. If I put a bucket next to it that said $5 selfies I would be making pretty good profit by now. Every delivery man, or house guest. I wonder if Cabelas or Bass Pro would buy it. At least then I could still see it!

He was a little apprehensive. I can tell you I will never forget. He shot his first whitetail deer the following fall and when I asked him if he was nervous he replied....."dad this isn't my first big game animal!"

Thanks for the kind words fellas. It was an experience of a lifetime and seeing my wife and son get their starts was better than I coudl have imagined. Now I have to try and contain myself until I return.

We arrived July 10th. I shot Zebra, 2 Gemsbok and 5 Springbok at a Red Hartebeest at South Camp. Some long shots and a lot of stalks to get in position. We hunted with Uys Schickerling. We did meet Louie. He was in camp most of the time we were there.
