Last goose hunt of the year for me… Perfect day: intermittent snow squalls, freezing temps and geese cupping perfectly into the decoys. You can’t ask for a better end to the season than by limiting out in time for breakfast!

Love this thread! I’m interested to find out if the Skinner peep utilizes the OEM front site or if it has to be changed out. I have multiple Skinner sights on different lever guns and have had to swap out front sights on about half of them. Great product!

Continuing the thread… Ruger No 1B stainless/laminate in .450 Bushmaster being held up by a nice big bodied forkie during an exceptionally wet hunt! Hornady Black 250 grain FTX helped in securing “chili on the hoof”- awesome performance, 75 yard shot in thick forest.

I am also watching this thread with interest. My wife and I are looking at a Croatia/Montenegro trip around the June time frame…
