I have a Interarms Whitworth in 458 with Lee dies and two boxes of factory 500gr Winchester ammo for sale. The stock has been repaired at some point other than that I really know nothing about the rifle. Having to part with some items due to recent divorce. 2100 plus shipping.
Can anyone recommend a gunsmith who can fix it?? Or does anyone have a stock on hand??Can u recommend an aftermarket stock?? I’d like to fix this one or purchase an original if possible. I was hoping someone had an extra around that they had replaced with a synthetic.
I’ve got my heart set on a 450 #2 . But with the scarcity of ammo and components do you think the 470 would be the better route? I would love a Birmingham boxlock in 450#2. But I see some Searcy 470s floating around that look like a lot of gun for the money.
I have to lease and also own some land I hunt. Making something inclusive that is exclusive is the fastest way to ruin it. The population in our area is growing so quickly soon there will be few places to hunt. I can’t see the open places we have left turned into a free for all hunting grounds...
I agree with Neophyte. I’m a cow calf producer in central Alabama. We have enough problems with vultures and coyotes. I’m aware grizzly bears won’t be released here . I would hate to know if I was rancher in that area that I had bears to fight also.
