I saw the earlier post that triggered this one. I have enjoyed several videos posted by that particular “celebrity hunter” until he posted one of himself shooting a whitetail doe with a 50 cal. Not sure the point of it.

I used www.travelinsured.com for my 2024 trip. I am getting quotes from them for my upcoming May trip to RSA but the rates have gone up significantly since 2024. Not so much to recoup airfare or outfitter $ but for any potential medical reasons.

I used a kitchen exhaust fan that I got on Amazon. A buddy of mine is an electrician and he hard wired it in and installed a 3 speed fan switch so I can change how fast I want it to exhaust. A lot of the fans when on high are too loud to sit comfortably and enjoy a cigar.

I got tired of freezing my ass off during NY winters smoking stogies outside so I converted my mud room into a cigar lounge.

Bought myself a Christmas present to bring with me to the Eastern Cape next May: Seiko "Arnie". An updated version of the Seiko that Schwarzenegger wore in the movies Commando & Predator. Having grown up in the 80's this is pretty cool to me.

A lot of work travel in December so the Christmas decorations went up earlier to normal. Happy holidays to you and yours, fellow hunters!!!

Last year in the Eastern Cape I wore a pair of Courteney Safari’s & a pair of Merrell Moab’s with a Vibram sole. The Merrell’s are comfortable but quality has gone to $hit recently.

Turned 50 this week. The Little Lady got me a Seiko Prospex Special Edition for my birthday. Will be wearing it on my return to the Eastern Cape next year.
