    Recommended Ammo for .416 Remington Magnum

    You have lots of options now. I used the 400 gr. Swift A-Frame for the first shot followed by two Barnes Monolithic Solids. Worked well. I would also use the Hornady DGX.

    II believe that a 375 dies it all. i always likes a M70 Safarigrade in 416 Rem Mag and M700 300 win mag. Just feels right.

    Wild hog meat… do you eat it or is it too risky?

    I really like the taste of the 50-75 pound variety. These were south of Houston. Not a lot of meat on the ribs but delicious. Making it a point to hunt them more often!
