Precision With The Marlin In .30-30 – The Reward For Long Efforts

I have a Rossi R92 Triple Black with a 16" barrel and a forward mounted scout scope, I shoot it suppressed. Basically a Marlin copy. Really like it.

    Winchester .375H&H Classic Stainless

That is a great barrel length for that particular rifle. Add back the front site and put on a XS rear ghost ring and you have the perfect Alaska brush gun. They aren't making these anymore, at least with the correct trigger. Come on you righties....jump on it!

Why does Tikka persist in supplying rifles with plastic magazines?

Why does Tikka persist in supplying rifles with plastic magazines?

There are metal mags, aftermarket. The best ones are Waters, made Down Under. They work great, you can get some more length out of a few of their options. There are also several aftermarket bottom metals that are, well....metal. I agree that the factory mags work great with exception of...

    Left Hand - Model 70 375 H&H - Help/Opinions Needed

Your 1 piece bottom metal (probably Sunny Hill) is superior to the factory 2 piece in terms of strength and accuracy. It's an upgrade. There is no fiddling with the barely tight third screw in the trigger guard to keep from binding the action. I would not change it. You can fit it to a...

    New haven M70

They are good rifles. They retain the basic, open trigger that the new ones don't have. I have owned 6 of them over the years, the ones I have shot have all exhibited acceptable yet not remarkable hunting accuracy. With any production rifle, there is the occasional one that is lacking I'm...

    New haven M70

You can cut it off, or there is a solid adapter that still allows tuning but eliminates the brake. Didn't catch on? Eric Cortina took the concept and is selling his version like hotcakes. The tuning is effective if you like fussing with such things. For a hunting gun? Meh......
