I've gone to the Sportsmatch rings for Tikka. They really stay put. I hadn't seen that Warne has direct mount rings until your post. Those look great too.

Tikka T3X. There are blue/wood and stainless/synthetic. I believe the new ones are all threaded. The only down side is they are light, so recoil is brutal. The suppressor with tame that down though.

I'm with you on the one and only action length. Change a couple numbers in the G-code and make a short action for crying out loud. . They would own the short action market.

I have a Rossi R92 Triple Black with a 16" barrel and a forward mounted scout scope, I shoot it suppressed. Basically a Marlin copy. Really like it.

That is a great barrel length for that particular rifle. Add back the front site and put on a XS rear ghost ring and you have the perfect Alaska brush gun. They aren't making these anymore, at least with the correct trigger. Come on you righties....jump on it!

When Lipsey's gets them they will pre allocated and only available to their gold plated dealers. So we will see them on Gunjoker for retail plus.

Those MT Tikka mags have a bad reputation but I've had good luck with them for my .338 Federal. They do stick out which is a bummer.
