go for it! Get the NECG full barrel band rear sight base, barrel band sling attachment, and banded front sight base. Heck, if you want to restock too: get the sunnyhill extended magazine for it. I don't know an M7 gunsmith but if they can rebarrel a mauser I wouldn't think it'd be too...
Yes, I noticed. Granted, you could maybe cut them down to a length IF (and its a big if) the inner and outer diameters are the same. But it would be fiddly work with a bunch of trial an error.

Ending today. Early CZ550 in 458 WM. Nice tiger stripes in the wood grain. Still a couple hundred under $2k. Put another crossbolt behind the recoil lug to prevent the splitting that happens in these early models and that will be a pretty rifle for...
Let me throw another wrench in here....How about the toughest 1" variable scope that ever came in gloss with a ~40mm objective lens and magnification range from ~3 up to 9 or more?
I won't hate on Gunbroker too much. I've had a couple of good buys off it for rarer used guns on it. A beautiful S&W m58 41mag and a non-tang_safety Miroku 1886 Winchester 45-70. But, wow new production stuff seems way too high priced.
Midway lists the sale price at 2800. Price trackers have it much lower. But every time one comes up on gunbroker… The price goes 1k more than msrp.
What’s the deal? Are they really so rare? Is a new lot expected to be produced any time soon?
Also I'm starting to see a few NIB Win 70 Alaskan's come out on the market.

A nice CZ550 chambered in 458 Lott with the factory laminate stock... that's a fairly rare combo. Nice low starting bid, too.
