Ok thanks everyone for the input. My rifle has open sights. Im leaning towards a low power scope I think so far.

So I’m thinking about putting either a red dot or a 1.5x something on my Montana Stainless/ Synthetic 458 Win Mag. I know the scope would add more weight. Anybody have any experiences they would like to share with pros and cons for that caliber range ? Thanks Fish

I like the food from the Patagonian region of SA. I’m more apt to lean towards the Chilean cuisine than the Argentine. Second to that the Mexican food and regional Austrian food is good in my opinion.

The pickiest MkV I have is the 6.5-300 Arroyo. It would only reliably shoot 127 gr Barnes to my recollection.

I love the Weatherby MkV. The 340 was the first rifle I purchased for myself out of college, since then it’s been quite a journey down the MkV rabbit hole.
