Finally got Fawn's pedigree from AKC.

My girl developed a really nice water entry right before she went off to school.

Those venison meatballs were so damned good, I'm for sure going to have to shoot another doe to have more bulk Italian sausage made!

I can't post a pic of the deer, but the granddaughter of my buddy who owns the farm where I hunt shot a very very nice buck out of the stand that hunt hunt often last Wednesday. Literally a buck of a lifetime for SC. I'll see if I can black out the face and post a pic.

Must have been an Italian mood going around last night!

Spaghetti tonight... My Mother makes an incredible sauce from scratch with ground beef and pork cooked low all day long. There were people at dinner who do not eat venison. Served over angel hair with some toasted rustic Italian liaf from a local bakery. My processor makes a really good venison...

Started off with some pecans roasted in the oven with some seasoning salt and butter for a appetizer. Finished up with some filets on the grill, pan fried potatoes with onions, bacon and cheese and some sauteed mushrooms.

Different one from a couple days ago, this one is smaller but still an old one.
