    What was your first African Animal?

    Black Wildebeest, RSA May 2024. Eastern Cape at Frontier Safaris. Nice and wide bull, he is now shoulder-mounted in my office. I made a horrible shot thanks to some faulty scope mounts and we tracked that fellow all day long.

    I agree. He was a showstopper for sure. Seeing him in person the night before was incredible. So much bigger than the cows he was with.

    For sure. I think that if we did one thing "wrong" with travel is that we didn't go that way. It eliminates the overnight in Windhoek and just sounds a good bit easier. My wife has taken that flight when visiting Germany and says its not bad at all.
