I had a .338WSM made on a Ruger#1 action back before the .325 was introduced. My son used it to great effect in Namibia with 250 gr. AFrames. It's a thumper.

They called me this week also. .375/270's shipped. Sure wish they'd do Arun of .358's.

As my son said recently, "they have no soul." I can't disagree. There is just something about deeply blued carbon steel and well finished, nicely figured walnut that brings that inanimate object to life, begs a name and worms its way into one's consciousness.

My only experience is with the.375 Whelen (not Improved). 300 gr aframes took everything from wildebeest and zebra (400+yds) to eland and sable at over 200. 300 gr @ around 2400 fps.
