That big case swallow's a LOT of powder, your 375 is in the mid 70s to low 80s range -- 378/416 case is up near 120 gr -- enjoy --lololol.

I took my wby 416 and set up my own loads to make it tolerable off the bench, both 400 gr and 350 gr at 2575 , recoil reduced and point of impact closer together , 400s dead on at 100 and 350s 2.5 high. the 400 txs devastated my bull.

Mine weighs about the same -10.5 or so --- be careful what you ask for I hear the 378 is the most wicked kicking of them all

The issue with velocity changes when you enter distance into the equation, 2600 at the Muzzle turns into 2400 at 100 yards -- or less {example numbers} and now you are in the sweet spot for the bullet -- just saying

that is with cfe223 I assume ?? care to share the details ??

FYI The Weatherby has a much bigger case head -- meaning bolt modifications.

A drop belly is like a Rigby or H&H from England, the stock drops down in front of the trigger guard to allow for longer Magazine box.
