Been loading some 340 WBY , 3 diff loads all set up for the same point of impact. 200 gr Accubond , 225 Accubond and 265 Accubond. The 265 have a gray tip so easy to Identify , the others are both white , so I dyed the tips on the 225 red so I can pic them out of a crowd.

I think it all comes down to personal experience -- I for one will never use a Partition again , I had to many of them come apart over the years -- but that's just me

now don't get snippy on me I may just use them to punch paper:giggle:

I used 180 gr Accubond in my 338 for pains game last year and loved them - one shot one kill --

Any thoughts on the 350 gr Woodleigh ???

Is anyone using the Hammer Bullets, I have seen some info about them lately and all the calibers and weights available are interesting. I do prefer a bullet that stays in one piece and mushrooms, but some of their concepts are thought provoking -- let me know , thanks

While I haven't read all the post here I will put in 2 cents worth hear as I am a newer Big bore guy, with over 40 years of shooting a 338wm. First point is , if recoil bothers you, try shooting from an elevated bench or sticks, there is a huge diff in felt recoil and if that is still a problem...

Did my first neck resize yesterday -- opened up some 300 WBY MAG to a 340 WBY , Took it slow and worked out fine.

I have 2 box's of 200 gr Hornaday Interlock bullets. I know they are old as they say $6.95 for a box of 100 . Does anyone know if they have changed the design of these over the years? I also see that the 200s are not made now. I am thinking of loading them up for some plains game action ---...

I still do that to get it close to start with --first time I did that was on a cannon in the Corp. put a cross made of string on the muzzle and looked down the bore from the breach --lol good old days.

I was shown a load for the 235s -- 84 gr of CFE223 at just over 3000 fps
