Want To Buy 458 Lott Snap Caps

I'm just thinking here, but wouldn't most belted magnum snap caps work? Won't a Lott will fire .458 Win. Mag catridges? That's the same case as a .264 Win., 7mm Rem. Mag, .338 Win. Mag.. I think its awfully close to .300 and .358 Norma Mags as well. Anyway, just trying to help. Best of luck...

    The Law of Diminishing Return

In order of importance, my hunting equipment is valued by me on how well it performs in the following categories. These categories are ranked according to their (importance to me) from #1: Durable, to #9: Makes my friends jealous. Durable, reliable, accurate, precision, high value per...

    9.3x57 to 9.3x62

What an awesome post! USAMA84DAB, made some good points, and he's right but this is nothing a decent gunsmith couldn't tell you right off the bat. My opinion is that I totally dig this idea! I may have to buy an old Husky to have this done! Great idea.

    SOUTH AFRICA: Hunt From Hell

Hell of a story. Also, hell of a man telling it. Someone who has seen things go bad before and knows the difference between a good and honest outfitter and someone who is "mailing it in". Best of luck to you, sir. Thank you for sharing your story and your perspective. God bless you.

    Winchester Safari or Alaskan?

Of course you're correct. And also, yes, I was exactly referring to people who are using these rifles out to 600 yards on elk. 200 yards is practically point blank on elk in open country.

    Winchester Safari or Alaskan?

I'm always surprised by people's willingness to cut their rifle barrels down to 16 or 18 inches just so they can use a suppressor. Turning their 30-06s into 30-30s. That's what I was saying

    Winchester Safari or Alaskan?

    Truth! Suppressor fanatics are insane!

    Elk at 688 yards with a 243

I've probably killed close to 20 elk with Berger bullets. They really do a great job of taking elk down quickly and cleanly. All that said, I've started carrying 2 loads. Bergers for long range work and something harder (Accubonds, Partitions, Barnes, etc.) for timber work. Some Bergers can...
